Scrip is simply a word that means "substitute money" - in other words, scrip is gift certificates/gift cards from national and local retailors. The participating stores agree to sell gift certificates to St. Mary's at a discount.  Families like yours buy the gift certificates for full face value, redeem them for full face value, and our parish receives a percentage of the sale.  It is very simple. Done on a weekly basis you can put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You can earn substantial money for our parish without spending a single additional penny.

There are 100's of merchants that participate in the program. We keep approximately 65 different vendors of scrip on hand. Any merchant marked with a ** means that it needs to be special ordered.  Any special order placed by 12:00 noon on Monday is usually received by Thursday or Friday of that week.  Charge accounts at Kohl's, and American TV can be paid with these certificates but should be done in person, as these are just like cash.

Orders placed online can be picked up at the school office (or parish office during the summer months), after weekend Masses, or sent home with your child.
